We are writing regarding the recent advisories issued by the
Ministry of Health (MOH) and
Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) ordering the closure of most workplaces from 7 April to 4 May 2020. Based on the advisories, online retail and related supply chains are essential services and thus Amazon.sg is exempted from the closure order. We will be making a declaration under the General Exemption through this website:
https://covid.gobusiness.gov.sg. We strongly encourage you to review the advisories and make the appropriate application or declaration through the website above. You should do so as soon as possible, bearing in mind the 13 April deadline.
In the meantime, we are working tirelessly to support our customers and keep our customers, employees and delivery partners safe and healthy. In line with government requirements, we are maintaining temperature screening and safe distancing measures within our fulfilment centres.
We are currently also assessing the impact of the recent measures on our inbound capacity and will continue to focus on optimising such capacity. We will communicate any changes through Seller Central and via email. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we prioritise safety measures for our customers, employees and delivery partners.
Regards,
Amazon Singapore
