After concocting her own creams and balms for years, Lynsey Lim quit her full-time banking job to launch Handmade Heroes in 2015. Handmade Heroes offer a variety of natural skincare products – from lip balms and shampoo to face masks – that are vegan, paraben-free, cruelty-free, AND halal-certified.

Adapting to ever-evolving beauty trends and consumer preferences has not been easy, especially as Lynsey does everything herself – blending the formulas and spending hours making the products in small batches by hand – to maintain product authenticity. With Amazon, what started as a hobby for founder Lynsey rapidly grew from local shores to become a widely loved brand across Singapore, Malaysia, Germany, and the US.

Since its founding, the business has grown from a 2-pax team to a 20-member company, with an increase in working space and facilities by 25 times and in sales by 760%.

The hunger to reinvent herself and build something of her own led Debbie to quit her job as a news editor in New York City and become an entrepreneur. She chose an unconventional item to sell, focusing on what some might say is an extremely niche product offering: professional quality cuticle nippers. With that, she incorporated Rui Smiths as a company in 2014, marking Debbie’s first foray into retail.

Catering to professional nail technicians, Rui Smiths provides refined and reliable tools to create beautiful, flawless manicures and pedicures. Debbie sources from manufacturers in developing countries to help support jobs for the locals and proliferate their craftsmanship.

Since launch, Rui Smiths has grown steadily across nine Amazon markets - US, Canada, UK, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Australia, and most recently, Singapore.

Joanna started VOSEGO after being motivated to introduce children to classical music and grow their natural affection for it. By creating toys epitomizing different virtuosos, Joanna sought to introduce babies to classical music in a fun and natural way. As a result, Amadeus, Fryderyk, Ludwig, the adorable alter-egos of Mozart, Chopin and Beethoven, were created and are loved by children and adults alike today.

As a one-person enterprise, Joanna oversees the design, production and sale of VOSEGO’s classical music toys. With so many aspects of the business to manage by herself, in addition to raising her two little boys aged two years and seven months, Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) helped VOSEGO to reach customers fast and get their feedback quickly.

Since launching her products on Amazon in 2018, Joanna has managed to expand her business while enjoying the flexibility in her schedule to spend time with her family.

Founded by husband-and-wife team, Jane Neo and Ivan Ong, KeaBabies is a baby & maternity lifestyle brand that designs quality products for modern parents.

Inspired by the love for their sons, Keon and Kash, the name ‘KeaBabies’ came about during a trip to New Zealand when the couple saw the world’s only Alpline Parrot, the Kea, which is known for being highly intelligent with strong characteristics.

“Our mission to inspire modern parents to build strong parent-child bonds and create wonderful moments together. We believe that through strong parent-child bonds, parents can create a loving & inspiring environment to nurture their child’s full potential," said Jane Neo.

In October 2017, KeaBabies started selling with Amazon USA and has since expanded to Canada, Europe, Australia, Mexico, Japan, and Singapore.
